Due to several factors, an estimated 5,000 youth in Utah experience homelessness for at least one night a year. As a result of their homelessness, unaccompanied youth face devastating harms and barriers in life, all of which hinder their ability to re-assimilate into society, depress their motivation, and inhibit their becoming independent, successful and contributing members of their families and communities. 

Due to the generous support of Donors like you, Youth Futures has been able to deliver emergency overnight and temporary residential beds in our low-barrier shelter facilities, intensive case management, drop-in, street outreach and ongoing supportive services to approximately 3500 runaway and homeless youth (RHY) ages 12-18 in Utah to date.

Our intervention programs connect RHY with case management, food, housing and resources while guiding them in a loving, supportive and productive way to build the skills needed to support a successful transition into adulthood.
